i feel as though i have been beaten by the ugly stick. when i was younger i was quite pretty (tho i wouldn't have believed it at the time) and now...now i don't think i am. how do you ladies cope with the changes your body puts you through? how do you handle the days when you get the blahs? what do you do to help boost your self-esteem? i've been doing some reading around this site, very helpful information, thank you ladies. but today i am having a day of issues, so i didn't know where to post this. when do things start to get better? how do you put support systems in place? i have support systems for other ailments but no one seems to understand PCOS.
i take lexapro LOL i do but i try to surround myself with good people. and when i cant i call my mom good luck and with winter comming the blah days just get worse for me

I try doing something i like doing or i know will make me feel pretty ie; shave legs; paint nails get my hair done (when i can afford it) maybe you could find something similar?

i always feel better emotionally after a bath. Dont know why. Maybe it's cos i get rid of the 'hair'? I like to paint my nails too.

Just look yourself in the mirror an say i may be feelin crappy today but i know what my good points are an list them all if that helps. Accentuate your good features treat yourself even if its just watching a film or a pamper day by yourself or with soem friends, have a chat just try not to sit there an dwell on it. Easier said than done i know but i find it does help. Good luck an im sure your not as blah as you think we are all gorgeous in our own ways xx
