Default Blank page

Everytime I post, whether I use the quick post or go into the main posting screen, it happens. As soon as I hit the post button I get redirected to a blank page. The only way to get back to SC is to go to the main forum area (refreshing and hitting the back button keeps me on the blank page). I have Norton Internet Security Suite 2009 and it has come up clean so I'm pretty sure this isn't a virus. The only time this happens to me is on SC. Also, the forum tends to load really slow and even time out a couple of times after this happens. Once I get back into the forums I'm okay until I post again and then the cycle just starts over.

I'm getting a blank page when posting, but if I leave it, the page eventually loads correctly. It has happened a lot today, so I figured it was due to heavy traffic on the site.

That's what I was going to ask.

I have firefox on my desktop, and get a blank page when using quick reply, but I don't have the problems with IE (on my laptop). To the OP, without knowing which one you're using (and which version), it's hard to diagnose.

Re: page load, try a tracert.

Nope, I'm using the latest IE. The blank pages are not happening this morning.

Jashobeam - with IE, I have no idea what it could be, I'll pass off to Kat for that one! lol

TMLyons - This is something that has been happening with Firefox for a long time, I'm not sure that there was ever a solution found. I usually just hit my reply, then go up to the address bar and hit enter and everything loads fine, or just refresh. You get used to it after a while. Its not enough to make me switch browsers!
