alright.. so... my first time ever (a little over a month ago), I bled a LOT, but that was just like.. the outside that was "traumatized" and it stopped and everything ... but then, my 2nd and 3rd time.. I bled a little.. then the times after that, very little blood again... But still .. I was like WTF Im still bleeding?? but the last time we had sex (2 weeks ago) I started AF again.. like right after.. and it stayed for 24 hours. I am on the pill, was in the 3rd week of active pills (ortho tri cyclin).. I had breakthrough bleeding the week BEFORE that too, the day after we had sex... So, Tuesday I had sex, AF started wednesday, next monday AF stopped, and started again Tuesday night after sex again.
I know I should talk to my doc, but why would this happen?? I know people say you can have an STD if you bleed after sex, but I was a virgin until then, and we used condoms every time.... I am going to call my doc soon, and did switch my BCP because I didnt' like the other one... but will make an appointment to talk to her about it.. but.. any ideas?

sad to say, i don't have any expertise in this area....i'm a virgin myself....but my best friend experienced something a lot like you did when she first started having sex! i'm not sure if it was nerves or what....but i think she also threw up at first....and the bleeding was right after and pretty heavy....she's on bcp now, but i'm not thinking her periods were regular before that....

I thought maybe I could offer another idea on the subject. You mentioned that you had used condoms each time and there was some bleeding after. The condoms could be irritating you and some of it could be you tearing. I did bleed after my first time, but not too much. There have been times when I have bled after sex, even now after 10 years! Never very much, but still, a trace is enough to make you worry sometimes!
I have done the same thing you have with the AF. The best thing to do would be to check with your Dr. to make sure there is nothing serious, but if you have just recently changed BCP you could be adjusting to them, and when you start having sex there seems to be some chemical changes that happen in your body - or so I have been told.

It's me again, I thought of something else after rereading your post.......try waiting a few days after AF before having sex, I have noticed that even after my last day there is still some discharge that is "blood tinged" if I have sex.
