bleeding but not my period

i had my last period about two weeks ago while on holiday last saturday i started to bleed infact i am still bleeding
why is this happening is it something to worry about ?

i was put back on yasmin but its never done this before

i feel so tired and ill
what should i do

Sounds like break-through bleeding to me. It happened to me during my first month on Yasmin. It is listed as a side effect on BCP pills and has a paragraph in the pamplet that comes with it. I think mine stopped, then I had my period during the off week and then I had another small break through bleeding during the next month, but it did not come back in the third month. It is pretty common.

I just started yasmin today.Ive gone from bleeding all month,to skipping 5 plus mo(like this time) and bleeding every 2 weeks.I think its par for the course with PCOS.Very unpredicatable.How has Yasmin been for you?My mine concern is getting my hairloss under control.

this is the 2nd time i have been on it
and never before have i bled so much i dont normal have spotting
i have been bleeding 9 days now and it hasnt spoted infact its heavey

and my tummy hurts so much i am in alot of pain

I kind of have a problem like this aswell. Didnt want to start a new topic - i was on dianette then got changed to yasmin i have been on yasmin for just less than a year. I have been bleeding for about a month or so its heavy sometimes there is like small blobs of blood (sorry about that) it started light then got really dark for a while and now its just blood it wont stop. I am not used to having periods because i never get them so i hate them the doctor told me to take the pill 3 weeks stop for a week etc but i havnt been stopping could this be something to do with that?

Dee: definately bring it up to your gyno! Especially since you conveniently have an appt next week. Anything you're concerned about you should be able to talk about with your dr.... they are there to give you answers

I have the same problem, but my doctors just seem to not do anything about it. Maybe i should see them again.
What is yasmin? i dont mean to be thick but i just dont know.

Yasmin is a BCP for PCOS

Did you miss any days on the Yasmin. I screwed up my pack and had a continuous bleed for 25 days and I was so sick and so exhausted. Tell your Dr...my Dr told me to discontinue my bcp for 5 days and then restart. That effectively restarted my cycle and the break-thru bleeding stopped. Good luck!
