As unpleasant as it is, it's not dangerous and will subside in a few months. It's just breakthrough bleeding as your body adjusts to a different dosage of pill. Most women who experience it worry and ask for a different brand, but if they stuck out 3 months it would go away on its own. It might not be a bad thing, in that it could be your body ridding itself of a uterine lining that's built up for a long time. So I'd let it go for a while and let your body balance itself a little.
