Question Bleeding during sex?

I have no idea if this is related to PCOS or anything, but I just recently lost my virginity and bled a LOT (I'm 22) the first time. I also bled the second time quite a bit, but less than the first, obviously. The third time was minimal, like the teeniest spot. After that, I didn't really bleed (this was about a month ago), but I did bleed once or twice, in particular yesterday, when I bled quite a bit, but it was like a brownish, light colored blood. It's not my period, I don't believe because it's been 24 hour since, and I'm not bleeding.. just a spot when I wipe. Anyone else have this type of stuff? Why is it happening on and off?! GR! Needless to say, it ruins the mood.

I don't have an explanation, but I wanted to chime in to say the same thing happened to me! I'm 22 and recently lost my virginity. The first time I bled a lot, second time a bit less, etc. and then sometime later a little blood every now and then. I haven't thought much about it, but after seeing your post I'm rather curious. lol

When I lost my virginity the samething happen to me.

For many women it is normal to bleed after having sex for the first few times. The bleeding is caused by the tearing of the hymen. The hymen is a membrane at the vaginal opening. When having sex for the first time the hymen may be stretched, rather than torn causing some bleeding but not completely breaking the hymen which may be completely broken during another time of intercourse.

Also if during foreplay you partner is using fingers in your vaginal area, that can also cause some bleeding, by scraching the vaginal walls with their nails.

There are also many other reasons that this could be happening, so your best bet is to talk to you doctor about this.
