Bleeding heavily for 12 days

Hi iam 32 years and have pcos.I was on anti androgen pills for 1 year later.I had irregular periods.
After 4 months I got my periods on my own.There was spotting for 5 days. Later heavy bleeding for a week. Now after that also past few days it is bleeding heavy.iam feeling very tired and slightly dizzy when I get up.
Should i take any tablets ?or would remedies work.
Am I ovulating? Iam trying for a second baby?
Please advice

Hi, I had the same problem in January. Where as I never get my period but they started coming on their own from November - January. In Nov. It was a normal 5 day period, December it was spotting. Then in January I bleed for almost 15 days *heavy bleeding*. I went to my Obgyn on monday, she said it was just my period,and that I was ovulating on my own, so to answer your question if your periods are coming on their own your ovulating.

But did your doc prescribe any medicines for the periods to stop after 15 days?

Earlier around 3 years back i had the same problems.I took medicines like transmeic acid for 7 days and the bleeding didnt stop.Then she gave some shots. that also didnt work.Finally she asked to go in for a D &C.

I was sacred , so i consulted a different oby/gyn. She gave me this anti androgen pills for 1 year.

Iam back on square one . Now iam scared to take any pills.

Are they any home remedies for bleeding to stop.Also I am in India so the herbs should be available here
please help

No she did not put me on any pills because it had stopped, but I did not get any period the next month (feb) so she put me back on BCP but I dont take it.

There should be some remedies for your bleeding to stop, if you bleed past more then 10 days you should most def. go to the ER because a nurse told me you could be loosing to much blood.

Hi I have Pcos ,got my periods after 4 months on its own. Now the bleeding is continuig for 10 days heavily. last 2 days there is no bleeding for 3 hours then suddenly i have lot bleeding with clots.
went to gynec she said pco relate mennorghia...she has give 40 tablets regestrone for 20days and has aske to come on 4thday after periods begins. I have a 5 year son and Iam trying for a second one from the past 3 months. She says i need treatment to conceive Iam overweight .iam 5.4 and weigh 87 kgs. iam trying to reduce my weight ,cut on sugar and carbohydrates. i have earlier taken regestrone and my periods were highly irregular. my question should i take regestrone now or is there any other means stopping bleeding and getting to ovulate. Please reply

Same here. I have had very heavy bleeding for up to 16 days. Doc says it's all normal however. Most months I have regular menses but they can last up to 10 days. Then a surprise by a two week cycle just like that. I have been told this is good however. Means you are ovulating. Keep your chin up!

Hey thanks for the reply.Bleeding has reduced .i need to change only 2 pads per day though not completely stopped ...trying all kind of home remedies ...if u know any thing please let me know..praying god to open his eyes and have some mercy on me.
