Question Bleeding on Ovcon 35

Ok so here's the jist of it. I have used Tri-Norinyl for years and years as my bc pill...basically it just stopped working well and about a week ago I switched to Ovcon 35.

Before switching to Ovcon, I had just finished a pack of Tri-Norinyl and had my regular period. But I was off of bc pills for about a week before I could get my prescription for Ovcon. Since I've been on Ovcon for 7 days, I started ANOTHER freaking FULL BLOWN period. Not spotting..I mean seriously a period, cramps and all.

My doctor said she wanted to try this for 3 months to see how things work...and I know the first few months are sorta sketchy as your body tries to figure stuff out. But is this normal? I've been having a period since Monday (I am on my 2nd week of active pills now). So should I stop this pack or continue with it?

THanks for your help!!

Hmmmm... I bled like a stuck pig on Ovcon35. I quit taking it pretty fast because of that. My OB was like "You need to give it 3 cycles so your body can adjust" - but I was like, uh uh, I am not bleeding like this for 3 months. It was crazy!!!

Yep..4 days is enough for me. I'm done..thinking maybe I'll switch to Necon or perhaps even back to the dreaded triphasic.
THanks ladies!!
