Question Bleeding on Provera: Effects on Clomid?

Okay, I'm kind of worried. I took Provera for ten days; started bleeding after nine, and it became regular flow the day I took the last pill. Then, I took Clomid on CD 2-6, since dr. said that would help me O sooner. Since Sat (CD 7) the bleeding has been so heavy, I've had to go the bathroom about every two hours, and there are lots of clots. It's still pretty heavy today. Now, I've heard several women say that it's normal to bleed this heavily on provera, but my concern is: will I still O on time? (assuming I O at all). I planning on it happening either CD 12, 13, 14, or 15-I'm leaving a large window of time, so we will BD every other day during this time to make sure. But, if the bleeding goes on for two weeks (as someone told me it can) will I still O? Can we even BD if I'm bleeding? I mean, I would think the blood would make it hard for sperm to travel inside. Sorry if this is TMI, but I'm just worried that the Provera is causing too much bleeding that will interfere with me O'ing and/or being able to BD during the few days time that I'm expecting it.

Hello!

How long has it been since your last period? I know if I wait 50+ days to take Provera to induce my period they are heavier and longer than usual. I think you will still O on time.

Good luck,

I agree that if has been a long time between periods, the doc probably should have let you take provera first to clean things out before trying the clomid.

When i took provera after a long time between AF, i would bleled for like 10 days pretty heavily.

Hopefully it will stop soon.

You could still O even of you're still belleding but I don't think it would work out...sorry. The uterine lining wouldn't be ready for an egg because it would still be shedding and like you said, I don't think your CM with all that blood would be a good thing.

Jsut my opinion of course YOu never know what will really happen. I hope that AF stops for you and you can get on with the BD!!!
