I have just started taking provera, and will then take my first round of Clomid. I have taken provera in the past to bring on AF, but never with clomid. In the past, my doctor told me if I start bleeding while taking it, just continue taking it until it is gone. Today I was thinking about that and wondered if that were to happen and I were still taking the provera, how could I possibly start taking my clomid on day 3?

Anyone ever dealt with this?

I was told that if I was still bleeding and taking the Provera when it was time to take the Clomid, I should discontinue the Provera, and start the Clomid instead. I was told not to take them together. I'd call the doc just in case!

I will call my doctor tomorrow and ask. I am only on day three of the provera, but yesterday as I was reading posts, I just started wondering what would happen if I had some break through bleeding and thought I would post the question. It probably won't be an issue, because the other two times I have taken provera, I haven't started bleeding until a good week after the last pill. However, the last two times I have taken it I only took 5mg for 10 days and this time I am taking 10 mg for 7 days, so you never know.
