| This is Me THEN! Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: TEXAS ![]() | What are some good fruits and veggies to blend for a shake? Either for breakfast or a quick snack? Do you add a protein to yours or not? If so which kind? I'm starting to go to the gym in the morning before work and want something I can take on the way. I don't eat breakfast normally but want to because I will be working out daily. Thanks for your posts ladies!

I'm out of yogurt so I couldn't have it today and I was so sad. I also like it with frozen pineapple, yum!

Sometimes I add orange juice (which is great with a splash of vanilla - makes sort of a creamsicle smoothie). Mango and raspberry is nice. So is peanut butter and banana, if you're so inclined. For that matter, if you really need a pick me up, you can use the yogurt, protein powder, and some cold coffee for a smoothie with some buzz.
