Hello everyone, I'm new to this website I just came accross it today and I think it's an amazing website.....i'm 26 and was
diagnosed with PCOS Jan 2008....actually I didn't even know I had it because my OBGYN never told me....I went to see my family doctor and he had PCOS written on his file and I asked him what that meant which is Jan 2009...I have been TTC for about a 2 years now...I finally found this amazing doctor that has just put me on the Femera pill and its day 4 of taking the pill...

My symptoms of PCOS are

-unwanted body hair, I have a mustache I have to nair off every couple of days.
-Depression, I have been on Medication 2 in 4 years to treat it but it keeps coming back.
-Irritability, I can't stand being around anyone for a long period of time and have to constantly moving and running around.
-Irregular periods, 32-35 day cycles last for three days only spotting, then the next cycle i might get 2 weeks later.

The last month has been a bit crazy for me. It seems like I had at least one doctor appointment every week, and too many tests to bother counting. The end result...FINALLY an official diagnosis of PCOS. After the good news from my biopsy (no abnormal cells), and an actual diagnosis, I've been feeling pretty darn good. I never thought I could give myself so many shots in such a short period of time! I started the protocol on Friday 8/14, and the egg retrieval was last Thursday 8/27. They got an even dozen, 11 of them were fertilized, and 8 of those became embryos!!!! We'll be doing a 5 day transfer on September 1, and then the 2WW begins...
