I am suprised and thrilled to have just started a period on my own, w/o drugs!! I have been changing my eating habits for just about a month now. I am losing weight,facial hair and now my first cycle. I know having a period itself sucks but its great to have my body working properly without meds!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 years ago and since then have put on 2.5 stone.

I read a bood recently that said i need to go on a GI diet to keep my blood sugar level in check.

Started 2 weeks ago and in the first week lost 5lb. Last week was not so good and didn't lose any weight.

So this is a new week and i'm gonna try really hard to keep the weight loss going.

So...I decided to weigh myself this morning...
I wasn't looking forward to it, and thought that I couldnt possibly lose any weight (from previous attempts) and that this drug (met 2000mg) wouldnt work...
but low and behold!! I've lost 15lbs!!! (Been on it sinse June 14th) I couldn't believe it was actually working. I couldn't tell the difference when i looked in the mirror but I have had a few comments..
