Today I found out that I have PCOS...
I knew I had some issues already, since I haven't had a period since November, 2008. Hubby and I have been TTC since a few months before that. The process has seemed like forever to get some answers, I've been to appointments since July-got ultrasounds, which the hospital lost...ugh just bad luck in general. Finally got referred to a fertility clinic, got diagnosed immediately. I'm starting metformin tomorrow and if conception doesn't happen by the new year he is adding clomid. Relieved to have some answers...but a little intimidated by all the related medical issues that I need to keep a close eye on now.
It's so nice to have this site to hear other situations and solutions but most of all to see the success stories.
