YESSSS!!!!! I was wrong :)

Posted 03-23-2009 at 08:49 PM by Ange7894
Well, I went to the doctor today about my foot and thank God, I was wrong. It's not a stress fracture. Just a pulled tendon. I am sooo relieved. That means that my absent period hasn't caused serious bone loss and I can start working out in a few days.

He told me it's due to some abnormalities in the structure of my feet which is causing my foot to be less supported. So I can bring in my sneaks and he'll fix the arches in the soles. Whew!

I'm still stressed about my...

I don't f#@!* believe it!

I am so pissed! Last week our treadmill was delivered and I started using it the next day. I was so excited because I was sure adding exercise to my routine will help bring AF back. I knew I was out of shape since it's been almost a year since I'd done any sort of exercise. So I was taking it slow. I started with 30 min of walking. My plan was to do that for a week, then increase it to 40 min. I don't plan on running since I don't really like to run, but I wanted to build up to an hour a day, maybe...

Better with the ER

Posted 02-20-2009 at 09:27 AM by Ange7894
Well, it's been about a week or so since I started taking the Met ER and the side effects have subsided. No nausea or lightheadedness. I have noticed though that it hasn't suppressed my appetite or reduced my sweet cravings. That hasn't been very helpful, but I'm trying to stay optimistic.

Started Met ER

Posted 02-17-2009 at 09:23 AM by Ange7894
Well, I started taking the ER version of Met and so far it's iffy on the side effects. Sunday I was nauseous and lightheaded most of the afternoon. I think it was due to not eating a lot though. I went on a mini road trip with my Mom to Long Island (where I'm from, and we live in CT) to visit family, and all I packed with me was some yogurt. I was hoping I'd have little appetite like before, but I actually got hungry sooner.

Yesterday I was a little light headed and had a headache...
