Hold tight to what you have today.
Hi there! I am new to this blogging idea, but I thought I might give it a whirl. Currently I am very upset over the loss of another cyster from Ohio, Maggie. I really didn't know Maggie that well. We spoke on the Ohio Cysters thread, toyed around with the idea of meeting some day. We first mentioned meeting sometime before her DD was born this past January. Thought maybe April or May would be a good idea. Then one day turns into the next and for whatever reason getting together keeps getting pushed back. You take for granted that you live close enough, you could get together anytime, right? Thing is we would've had alot in common. Her DD #2 was 5 months, mine was 9. Her DD# 1 was 8, born just about a week or so after my DSS who is also 8. It is amazing how much of life is taken for granted. You just never know what day might be your last. What words to your loved ones may be your last spoken. Make them count! Is the fact that dh won't help with the...whatever it is...really that important? Is it worth fighting about? Is it worth it to take the chance that those last words spoken could be in anger? My heart breaks for Maggies girls...one who has to deal with memories of a loving mother and try to figure out how to go on and make sense of it all. And one who will have no memories of their mother....just pictures and stories. Both of their hearts will forever feel a void. It is sad that it takes a tragedy like this sometimes to be a "wake up call" to others. May God bring Maggie and her family peace and comfort in this time. And may He stay close to the hearts of her DD's forever.
