Needing help with a eating plan/diet

Posted 07-07-2009 at 01:04 PM by barbieh007
When I was diagnosed with PCOS the dr. said it wouldnt hurt for me to loose a few pounds I am small and not overweight but apperently it would help. So after sorta trying I didnt see the need and gave up my hubby is always trying to convince me to eat better and its not that I dont care but I just cant find my self control. I am ADDICTED to sweets so bad and find them comforting. I was going to the gym a little although I stopped going cause I didnt want to go alone. so I havent been in almost 2 months I need some serious motivation because the holidays surely arent helping me with all the junk food around. Its time for me to get serious because I am tired of getting labs done every month and taking pills all the time. I want this to go aways and more importantly we want a baby.. I could really use some advice if anyone has any?? Thanks!!

im the same way.. i looooove sweet stuff.. I went and saw a nutritionist and i lost a lot of weight, and i was still able to eat ice cream, snack cakes (100 cal ones) umm, i ate a lot of fruit and stuff, but i get to go to chinese food 1x a week, and basically whatever i wanted but in moderation and in proper portions. Im not sure if your insurance will help u with it, but it wouldnt hurt to try.. especially if ur like me and love to eat the sweet stuff, i got to but the right ways =-) GOOD LUCK! =-)

Thanks..
well I must admit I did great yesterday.. And I dont think I can totally deprive myself from sweet stuff but I plan on not eating just because its there or even going over board with it. Yesterday I ate a bagel for breakfast, a banana before lunch then a salad ( that was so yummy) and yogurt and for dinner i had some chicken but I didnt eat to much. I think i will be ok if I try to not over eat, lay off the sweets some, and try to eat a little healthier. Oh and of course excersice.
Iwas thinking maybe get some low fat crackers or something to snack on in between meals when I get hungry I thnk that would prevent me from eating to much too. I didnt no that some insurances covered that sorta thing I might check into it though. thanks again
