Hoping this is the last....

I truely and sincerely hope this is the last blog I write before my baby decides to make her "fashionably late" and much-anticipated appearance. I feel like I've been pregnant forever!

I'm now 3 days overdue and I have an OB appointment this afternoon. I'm hoping that I go in, they examine me, then tell me they have to keep me because I'm already 100% effaced and 5cm dilated. *wishful thinking*

My original plan was to not have to be induced. BUT....I have already...

Yesterday's Appoinment

I had an OB appointment yesterday and NOTHING is new! Argh! I've been 1cm and 50% for 3 weeks now and we've been BD like crazy trying to make some progress. I guess I'm a little disappointed about that.

We had the ultrasound, but that wasn't eventful either. The tech said Layla's head was buried so far down in my cervix and facing my back that she couldn't get a good measurment on the head which gives inaccurate size and weight measurements. What the machine did come up with was 7lbs...

Randomness

Maybe it's just a random thing, but I've been having what I would call "hot flashes" all morning. I'll just break out in a sweat all of the sudden. Like right now. My face feels like it's on fire. Weird.

I'm ready for my appointment today. I'm definitely not in a good mood though. Had a fight this morning with DH about the in-laws inviting themselves to stay at our house after the baby is born. I DON'T want them there at ALL! Let's just say that DH needs to grow some BALLS...

Well, it's definitely been a while since I posted here about anything. I have to say I'm getting really excited/nervous/terrified/anxious about my upcoming due date. I think most of my fear is of the unknown factor. Will I go into labor tomorrow, 2 weeks from now, 5 days from now? I have NO idea when it's going to happen and the suspense is killing me! I want to have a clue so I can at least shave my legs! Argh!

Anyway. I'm excited about my appointment with the OB tomorrow. I get to...

Crappy Weekend

I had a truely crappy weekend this weekend.

DH and his friend had been planning a fishing trip on Saturday for the last couple of weeks. The lake is about 2 hours away and DH's brother lives close by so they were going to swing by and pick him up on the way to the lake. Well, let's just say it was an all day event that concluded with DH getting home at 1am....after I was already asleep. That's a Saturday I spent by MYSELF doing NOTHING. I couldnt even call my mom because on the weekends...
