why dont they care?

hey natalie cheer up, I've been feeling down in the dumps these last few days, but u can't live your life that way u have to look beyond the annoying physical attributes of this syndrome, and cherish life's good moments, I know it stinks but a positive outlook can make a world of difference, that's why this site's here so we can support each other's misery

keeping on...

Congrats! 3 pounds is excellent. Number always sounds so small, but if it's more than zero, I'm always excited. Even if it's just half a pound. Progress is progress! Keep up the good work!

Excited to Get Started

I know that feeling. I am finishing up my first round of clomid tonight. Then I have adr's appt on Friday to see where we are at. It does feel very real. Like in a few months everything could be different. Its a great feeling. I just try and not get to excited because there is that possibility that it will not work. but I can relate to your feeling!

I just recently started taking vitex, I love it. I am uninsured, so its cheaper and easier for me to go the "vitamin" route... vitex, cinnomin, b12 with folic acid... my periods are becoming more regular, and I take Omega 3, for the skin issues. Its extra pills then just the metformin, but i had terrible side effects from it so went this route. I have been trying to concieve for a year.... had a miscarraige then was Diagnosed with PCOS this past july... so... hopefully Ill have some good news about Vitex sooner rather than later lol.

Bittersweet

Hi , I am so unhappy as well.I hate PCOD, I hate not being normal and being unable to have kids just like everybody else.It is such a cruel disease to have for a woman.I understand what you are going through, all my friends have had kids or are pregnant right now except me.

Don't feel bad- it's perfectly natural for you to feel that way. It's a crazy mix-up of emotions, feeling happy for your friends, sad that you don't have a baby, then feeling bad for being a little sad. It's not easy having all of these emotions, but don't feel bad about it.

12 things NEVER to say to someone who is ttc

I had a relative tell me when I discussed my infertility with her; This is not the worst thing that could happen to you... You have many options including adoption... I know there are many children out there in need of a home but I would love to have my own... This comment came from someone who has 4 children of her own and 10 grandchildren... I was shocked at how someone who has no idea how it feels to go through what were going through could make such comments... No sensitivity... Ladies i wish you the best... Baby Dust, Good Luck!!!

Honestly, our situation is quite similar as far as going untreated but diagnosed for years. I have heard a lot about vitex which is a herbal remedy. However, ask your doc about metformin. It is serving me well so far, and has helped hundreds of cysters get prego!!! Good luck!

Clomid #2

Aww...I have some baby stuff stored away too...there's nothing wrong with that. I think it even helps you to have something to focus on when TTC. good luck to you!

Is any1 listening

I know what you mean when you say you get jealous of other mothers. Everytime I see someone who is a bad mom, I think to myself, "why them and not me." This site is great because there are so many women out there experiencing the same emotions. You should check out some of the threads because there are so many women with similar stories who you can talk to. Feel free to leave me a message anytime- and don't worry, there's plenty of people who will listen when you wanna talk.

ugh...people are so mean. I miscarried this year and most pple pretend it never happened. And, everyone is always saying, "If you just stop worrying about it/talking about it, it'll happen." doesn't it always seem that the people who say these things have no problem getting pregnant at all- so how would they know?

Pcos Or Endometriosis?

Olivo - If you have Endometreosis it will burn when you pee and some even complain of cramping discomfort when you pee. Both PCOS and Endometreosis are very common. If you are young then a doctor will not dx with endometreosis unless they this it is severe enough to operate - the reason why is because the only way to fully dx endometreosis is an endoscopy. PCOS is a totally different thing. Most drs can confirm PCOS with bloodwork. Your best option is to seek out an OB who can put you on a payment plan with limited cost. A walk in might be your best resource.
