has anyone heard about taking saw palmetto for pcos? it's supposed to help with the hair loss, etc. i did just start taking it, figured anything could help. and what about chloine instiol? thanks

i got diagnosed with pcos about 6 or 7 yrs ago. i have 3 children, so that area doesn't seem to be affected. i have hair where it shouldn't be, and i am thinning on top of my head. i have to shave my arms daily and pluck my facial and chin morning and nite. i hate this. it is almost impossible to lose weight. i cannot take metaformin i get severe diarreha from it. i am on aladactone (spelling sorry) and that helps my "fur" a little. i don't know what to do. no one does. my gyn's partner...
