First Day of Metformin

July 1, 2009. Right now I am taking 500 Mg tablets once a day.
The only thing that I have noticed with Day 1 is that I ate a sub and later on I was having diahrea, bloatiness, constipation kind of feeling. I have IBS so it might be totally related to that to.
Other then that I feel a little more awake at work. I tend to take it around 6:30 or 7:00 PM when I eat. I work from 2:00 to 11:00pm Tuesday thru Saturday so I tend not to eat to many meals and I wanted to keep a constant time of when I was taking it.
I did crash at night though and woke up a little tireder then I normally do.
