Well, we're putting our house up for sale at the end of August. We had been joking about the rat race and selling and moving to a cheaper place in another county. That led to looking at homes in our area, and we impulsively (sorta) called our agent and told her we wanted to sell. I. am. stressed. By Wednesday I will have worked ten straight days without a break. The clocking in at work is not working and my boss told me I'd have to keep trying SEVEN times before "giving up"! I got a pile of cash for my birthday, and along with some other things I ordered a bread machine online. It's a Sunbeam and I used got to bake some yummy bread tonight.

I had one about 10 years ago, but for whatever reason I took it back to the store and got a refund. I don't know what I was thinking because it's so convenient to just throw the ingredients into the machine and let it mix, knead, rise, and bake a loaf of bread.

Saturday we had Lucas' and my party at Pump It Up, a party place with giant inflatable equipment. Everyone had a blast.

Well, I usually have about one day out of the month that's just for me--no husband and no child. But today the husband didn't go to work until 5:00 and I decided to keep Luke at home and do some fun things.
