PCOS Essay

I'm doing an essay on PCOS and wonder if anyone has some info for me? I just found out that PCOS was discovered in 1935. Does anyone know the specifics on that? Were there any treatments available? I'm trying to find some early history on it. If anyone knows anything they think that may be interesting please let me know. Thanks!
