My life for the past couple of years has been consumed with TTC. Then, a miracle... on 8/27/08 I got a BFP!!

Everything was going perfectly. My numbers were doubling, my scans were perfect, heartbeat was strong and rising. The Beta came back positive as well YAY!! At 14dpo my # was 54. my RE told me that was normal for now, but to be "cautiously optimistic" and come back for another beta on Friday morning. So of course I'm freaking out. I went and bought more pg tests (i use all mine wed. morning) & tested again last night (BFP) and this morning (BFP). I think it's clear that I got something growing in there, lets just hope my numbers double tomorrow (Friday).

So I had my IUI on 8/13 and started progesterone suppositories on 8/16. I had to stop those on 8/20 because I was getting an interesting rash. So my RE suggested I start giving myself small doses of HCG beginning on 8/21 (1,500iu) & again on 8/24 (500iu). I have a BETA scheduled for tomorrow 8/27, but I got impatient.

As most of you can probably understand, I've been battling my weight since I was a teenager. I am 5'3" and currently weigh 190lbs. It's scary just to put down for all of you to see. Don't let my picture be deceiving, that was taken a couple of years ago when I weighed 160.
