  1. Getting back on track

    I can't believe I have not been here for 3 months! We had 2 foster daughters at once and now they are both gone. We are taking time off from being foster parents for now.

    Been back on low carb after a couple of months of not so good eating again. Also, have a new love of yoga and am happy it is summer time so I can swim.

    Next time I am at grocery store I will have to weight in again. I have pretended the scale was not there the last couple of months.

  2. Update 3/5/09

    Well, I haven't posted like I planned and I have derailed yet again. I did weigh myself and in spite of it, I am down 3 more pounds to 254. I can't wait to get below 250! I will have to do measurements later. We got a foster daughter, so that has been keeping us very busy and she is 4 1/2. It has made it hard to find time to exercise and I have been eating good half the time, not so good the other half of the time. I actually had true EWCM for the first time this month.   3. I am so blue

    Well, back from the family cruise and I did go to the gym twice and didn't eat like crazy. My post cruise weigh in shows I am up one pound from the before, but that could be water weight from the carbs in my body. I got sick half way through the cruise and am just now getting over it, so I have not exercised in a week.

    So, why am I blue? My sister thinks she may have gotten pg on the cruise. She is emailing constantly on her implantation bleeding symptoms and though she is excited, ...

  4. Decreased Apetite

    I just noticed that for the past couple of days I have not been hungry at all, unless about 8 hours goes by. This is so completely unlike me that it shocked me today when I realized it. I am a nibbler, always looking in the fridge, a food sneak. The only thing that is different is that for the past 10 days or so I have been adding 2-3 tsp of virgin coconut oil and walnuts to my diet daily. I feel like that hungry switch has been turned off and it is odd. I forgot to eat lunch yesterday...FORGOT! ...

  5. Update Week of January 28, 2009 New Supplements

    OK, I am feeling really good. I have tons of energy and my mood is much better. I weighed myself a few days ago, down to 257, so I am down a total of 8 lbs, but I know I am also adding muscle which weighs more than fat. I can feel my body changing slightly. I am doing a pretty good job staying low carb, and exercising 30 minutes most days of the week, and am doing weights every other day. Here are my measurements this week:
