What The Doctor Ordered....

Just got back from the gyn. Basically it went like this:
I had to pee in a cup (as usual) and they tested it for a UTI, but nothing was detected. I was prescribed antibiotics anyways. She told me that I may be Pre-Diabetic.
Then the nurse practioner suggested to me (all on her own) that I go on Metformin to help me continue to lose weight and regulate my period. She told me that clinic I was at is strictly a family planning facility they can't prescribe Metformin to me, but she gave me a list of GYNs that can and they'll be able to monitor me. She also said most of them take the uninsured.
She asked me if I just wanted to go on birth control, but I declined since I have really bad reactions to BC. Plus I want something that will regulate my periods and not stop me from being able to conceive if I want to.
I read somewhere the most BCPs can stop a woman from being able to conceive up to a year after she stops them. I don't want that to be me.
Oh and I met a guy. He lives 45 minutes away. So far so good with him.
I'm still waiting on school to start *August 24* and on August 5th I have an appointment to take the 911 Dispatcher's exam so I'm really excited about that. The only down side is there's no way to study for it. It's either sink or swim with that exam. If I get the job it makes really good money. I'm talking about real moolah.
If that doesn't work then I'll just take CNA training in Spring 2009 since I'll definitely have a car.
Oh and I have to take my Behind the Wheel Driver's Exam on August 17th.
So many important dates are coming for me.
