Default a blonde beard

what do you think of that? how abnormal is it, really? I have this coating of blonde hairs on my beard area and on my neck. Some that I've plucked have come in darker but I keep them at bay. But do you think people notice or think it's abnormal?

I have always had a fuzzy face!!! I have a few dark ones mixed in with them. I pull the ones that are really long, but actually I am thankful that they are blonde. If they were dark, I would be bumming!!

Post I trim the ones on my upper lip...

The hairs on my upper lip grow in long and blonde. I just trim them and you can barely see them unless you're in a car, and even then, they're barely distinguishable. It takes forever for them to come in to. Since yours are blonde, I'm gonna take it that they probably would take a very long time to grow back. I would trim them, or use a light facial depilatory. DON'T LEAVE IT ON LONG THOUGH!!!

i think some people are talking about course hairs that happen to be blond while others are refering to fine but excessive blond hair?

Default Yeah, depends on the courseness

depilatory creams just don't work on course hair. Unless you want to burn yourself through layers of skin... Guess that depends on your DNA, whether the hairs are blonde or brown, red. I mean, theres guys with blonde and red beards...so..... I suppose it depends on the courseness.

I have blonde hairs too - kinda fine on my lips - and coarser on my chin. I usually just shave - but if you'd like something that lasts a little longer - try Magic Powder. It's a depillatory - for ethnic men. You just use a little powder & water to make a cream. It's sold in the shaving aisle with the ethnic items - it's a silver can (cardboard).

I haven't tried the cream. If it's made by the same people - it's probably the same thing - just already mixed with water. Might even have some conditioners in it?

BTW - the topic of "beards" came up at work. And I actually told one of the guys that I shave! (I've decided I've got nothing to be embarassed about - it's the way I am and I can't help it -b ut that's another thread). Anyway - he said "Really, I never noticed you had facial hair."

This guy is a very honest guy - usually to the extreme (and we're not friends-just acquantances)! So this really impressed me. Anyway - my point here is - you (other people) probably can't see them.

Ask someone you trust to be honest with you to check for ya!

that's such common sense, don't leave it long. I was looking at a picture of me from the side and I saw all these hairs. this clump of hair. So last night I trimmed them up and I look better!

Default Yeah, I used to do nothing

Then some kid said something about it. Then after I trimmed, I never had anyone say anything about my stache. I don't know why I was so afraid about it before. But trimming feels better than shaving, only because for me, shaving is so traumatic. It would kill my esteem. But if I learned to get over it, I probably would do it. Hey Me2, I had a post on Yasmin. And I think it's helped my moustache to, but I don't want to be a victim of wishful thinking, but in any case, I'd try it if you haven't already. If you experience terrible side effects though, get off it. I'm hoping since I'm young, the Yasmin will take care of the hair growth. I'm not stupid though, I'll have to lose my weight and eat right, but I think it will be ok.

I have mainly blonde on my chin, which is weird as my head hair is dark! Some of them are fine and wispy and they don't bother me, but others are long and coarse and they annoy me. I also get dark ones in the middle of them, which in a weird way I prefer sometimes as I usually notice them before they get too long.

Don't you hate it though when you are out soemwhere and put your hand up to your face and you feel a really long hair you hadn't noticed before? Makes you totally preoccupied for the rest of the day and you keep trying to pull it out with your fingers as you have no tweezers on you, even though last time it happened (and the time before and the time before..) you swore you would always keep a pair of tweezers on you from now on!!
