Default Blondes & Laser

Just curious to all of you who have had laser hair removal and are blonde.

How many treatments have you had and how do you find the results?

Thanks,
Kali

I have been told it works best on fair people with dark hair. The laser targets the melanin (color) in the hair follicle so if it is light, I am not sure how well it would work...

I'm blond but have dark hair on the areas I'm having treated. My upper lip was great after one treatment, but the other areas took 3 treatments before seeing any difference. I'm still needing to shave everyday but the hair is less dense. I actually have a few hairless patches! I'm scheduled for my fourth treament next week.
BTW, my clinic uses the Aurora laser.

My tech told me that it will NOT work on my blonde hairs on my face because the laser needs the color to pick it up??? But most of my hair is black so i really dont worry about the blonde, she did tell me about this stuff you can buy that you put on your face 2 times a day and it dyes your hair UNDERNEATH the skin so then the laser can get them. Im not sure how true this all is but in picking my laser tech out and her honesty about blonde/red hair was one of the reasons i went with her.

Default very important news about blonde hair and lasers!

i have wastes much cash on trying to laser off my pale facial hair. any tech who tells you their laser works on blonde is a fraud, unless they are using the new aurora laser which is a combo of radio frequency and laser...
there is also one other laser that supposedly has some success with blonde hair.
if you want more details and web sites, let me know i will gladly fill you in!
please dont waste your money like i did!!
