If you have a competent doctor, probably! I think there are other conditions that can cause all those to be high, but I'm guessing you were being tested for PCOS. Remember, start met slowly and ramp up. Weekends (or whenever you don't work) are a good time to increase your dosage in case you have GI s/e. Good luck!

What about your LH or FSH? Did you do Insulin Resistance?

well, my FSH was 4.1 and LH was 18.9, and she wrote LH/FSH=4.6
do you know what that means?
I haven't done a fasting one, but yesterday I did collect ALL urine for the day and turned that it. (btw, that wasn't fun! LOL!)
(from my understanding of th c-peptide, that's another way to measure insulin and insulin resistance, and since it was high that means my pancreas emits more insulin than needed or something like that)

A higher LH than FSH is a very strong indicator of PCOS. Coupled with elevated testosterone and the high c-peptide/insulin(haven't heard of that before) it sounds to me like there is no way your doc could come to a conclusion other than PCOS. I hope you get your Met. Ask for Glucophage xr...it is easier on the tummy than Met.

I am not sure. Someone on this board was talking about it a few weeks ago, but I can't find the thread.
