Thumbs down Blue Days

Blue again…. I was doing so well and this past couple of weeks have been a real downer again!

I am going back to work in two weeks after nearly 6 months off, I was determined to go back when I was better and although I have seen some improvement I am still somewhat sick but I can’t afford not to go back as my finances are just a right mess right now….

I am only going back to three days a week to start off, and I am keen to get back into work just to get me out of the house, but I wonder how I am going to cope with it all really….

Money is a real worry right now…. I have debts left, right and centre and the place I rent from just posted a letter through the door this morning about my rent arrears….. I am paying something and I have kept them fully informed about my situation but still letters like this are annoying.

On top of that money worries or not I’ve found myself gambling online which is the worse thing I could do…. Yet I can’t stop (although I have for 24 hours as I am penniless!)

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr can someone wave a magic wand for me please!

Alison:

Sorry to hear about your predicaments. I hope all turns out well for you. Going back to work may be a good thing, in more ways than one. First, as you stated, it will get you out of the house (which it really important) & on a constant schedule. Secondly, it will get you interacting with other people (maybe who could provide support in what you are going through or who could provide distraction to what you are going through).

I am also going through a little rough patch right now. I am still "off" my antidepressants, awaiting an upcoming appointment with a new Psychiatrist & struggling each day to be able to muster up the strength to get things done inside/outside of our house.

I hope that you are getting professional help, as well. That is a really important thing especially when times are tough. Oh & keep up the conversation about your financial status to debtors. It at least will show that you are aware of the situtation & that you have a plan to make a resolution as soon as you are able.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Take Care.
