My nails have been looking bluish purple lately... I have no clue why. Is this a sign of poor circulation?

If not what is it?

soulcysta--do your hands feel cold? or just the blue nail color? is it all the time, or just intermittent?
i would definitely ask your dr about that because it could be a sign of bad circulation or another medical problem

My mum has terrible circulation (possibly related to her lupus?) and always has purple nails. She carrys around mini wheatbags in her pockets and heats them up in the microwave at work.

Did you ever find out why you have purple nails? I have had them for 2 months now and my heart tests have come back normal. I am scared and wondering why my nails look like this. They are not cold and are this color constantly. No Dr.'s are helping me.
