One BIG reason has to do with posting. I've noticed, and many have commented that there is a 'delay' sometimes when posting (ie the page just kind of 'hangs' in limbo). I originally thought this was a server problem, but it's a bug in the current version of the software.
The move 'should' be fairly painless, but you have FIVE DAYS to save and back up any information that you can't afford to lose.
The new board will have a slightly different color (I'm just warning those of you who don't like change.)
The good news is that this will be the last change for a LONG time - I PROMISE.
The plan is that the chatroom will also be fixed at the time of the upgrade.

So if there is ANYTHING you want backed up that you ABSOLUTELY can't live without, back it up. Kat doesn't anticipate losing anything but if you can't live without it, back it up anyways.
