Not sure how to describe this, it isn't horrible, but wanted to ask...
Everytime I get on the board, I check my User CP...if I click on it and read it, and go back to my User CP it now disappears cause I have read it. Sometimes I go back into it, and instead I have to go search for it. It hasn't ever done that before.
Also, when I hit new posts, it always says there are 17 pages, instead of actually how many there have been since I last logged on. So the posts stay there, even if I cycle through New Posts, it doesn't just clear the cache and start over. I have to actually hit "Read all" for it to completely clear.
Does that make sense? I wasn't sure how to explain it!

This part, I'm not understanding... When you say 'it', are you talking about the actual UserCp 'link'?

Same for me. It has to do with some type of optimization Safin did on the board. He and I chatted about it, and I don't think it can be changed. I just click on "Mark all posts read" when I'm done. (Annoying, I know...I like it better the other way.)

Sorry! I read that part again and it really made no sense!!
When I go into my User CP it lists all my subscribed threads (I don't have email notificiation, I just check my User CP) and they are all listed. For example if I read the American idol thread and go back into my CP, that thread is gone. If I clicked out of it accidentally or want to go back to it to respond after I read all my subscriptions, I can't, because it is gone. It disappears when I read it.
No worries on the other part, clicking all read solves the problem

ETA, it does the same thing if I read a thread in the new posts section. Once it has been read instead of unbolding it and leaving it there, it disappears since it has been read.

It does this to me too. When I go into User CP it shows all my subscribed threads that have new posts. If I click on one and go back it's gone. But if I click on the "show all subscribed threads" in the blue line under the subscribed threads, or where it says there are none to display, they reappear and I can read them again. Do I make sense? Sometimes my directions via email don't seem to make sense to anyone but me!

^that's^ the way it's supposed to work. It's like that on other board I visit.

Oh okay!! It was just different, (not bad) and it takes some getting used to. I thought I would ask and see if it was a glitch, or the way it was supposed to run. Thanks Kat!!

I also think that when this happens, it happens to my CP as well, that when one of your threads (say the one that 'disappeared'), gets a post, it pops up again in your user CP?
