I have had PCOS for many years (hindsight is 20/20), but diagnosed probably 6 years ago. My question is...at times I experience terrible body temperature changes. I can be dripping with sweat while everyone else is comfortable, or my body might feel frozen, while everyone else is comfortable. Last night, my feet were freezing, so had several covers on, and then when I touched my husband's legs with them, he said they were hot. Is this something common with PCOS, or that anyone else experiences, or could it be something else going on? Thanks!!!
Welcome to soulcysters sweetheart **Hugs** It is so very nice to have you as a cyster! This is a great site with so many wonderful people, where you will find advice, support, guidance, and friendship, I love this place so much and I know you will too!
I wish I could help you out with your question hun, but I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I sweat all the time...so very much Also, sometimes I am cold when other people are hot. It may have to do with abnormal hormonal levels or fluctuating hormones. I wish I could help you out more with your question, but I wanted to let you know that I am experiencing the same thing.
Once again hun, WELCOME!!!! I hope to see you around the boards!

I totally agree!!! I get so hot sometimes for no apparent reason. Just walking around the grocery store I start to sweat or sometimes just sitting and watching TV. I have tried to pay attention to what I have eaten before it happens - thinking maybe it is an insulin spike or something related to really high glucose levels, but nothing seems to form a pattern. So now I am thinking that (as was said before) it may be hormonal. I really don't like it cuz it can be embarassing. It happened once while I was sitting at a ball game. My friends kept saying "are you okay" - I was fine aside from wanting to crawl under the seat.... LOL I hope it makes you feel better to know that you are definitely not alone! Take care

I am always boiling hot even in the middle of winter and it's snowing. I have to sleep with all my bedroom windows open. Is very frustrating. I have to work vest tops/short sleeves to work and out. I even got moaned at a few times for wearing 'skimpy' clothes and showing off my body so now sometimes I'm reluctant and end up wearing bigger tops and boiling

I am another "sweaty betty." Although I do have periods sometimes when my hands and feet are cold--bad circulation, I guess. Have you mentioned your concerns to your doctor?
I also suffer from the cold hands even when I'm extremely hot, it's also really painful somtimes - I was diagnosed with Raynaud's Syndrome? I read a while ago on here about a few PCOS ladies that also suffered with this? Strange...
