Ever since I was about 18 i have gotten vaginal boils. When my dr put me on my meds they almost all disappeared...recently I got one (after not having one for a year) and it was quite big and uncomfortable....does anyone else know y we get these? After these boils burst, they leave scars on me down below and i hate that....this one i just had was like the size of a golf ball and it was so uncomfortable to sit or anything....it burst recently and i feel better but i hate these!

You get vaginal boils? I'm sitting here trying to figure that out, I'm sorry. Like where your pubic hair lies? I know that I get one here and there on my inner thigh. It can be from friction, oil and dead skin. I know they are quite painful, but I've also not had one that large. If they hurt really badly, I dip a needle in alcohol and prick the surface. Then I put on some drawing salve and put a bandage on it and it sometimes helps to get rid of it. I've not found anything to prevent it though. I've often thought about using the wash that I have for my face on my inner thighs just as a preventive measurement. Maybe someone else will have a better treatment. Good luck.

It is actually called Hydrentis Supertiva, there are alot of PCOS sufferers that have this. IF you do a search under Do you have this it will show up. There are a few remedys to help with pain but that is about it.

Hi Mary,
I get huge boils on my inner thighs and I got one once on my vaginal area,very painful thats all i can say so i know how u feel I wasnt really able to do much for it but i soaked in a warm tub to ease the pain in my area! I get them really bad on my thighs though once a month usually after or before AF, and they leave horrible black scars.I was recently diagnosed with what Pooh said (Hydrentis Superdtiva)My gyno told me to see a dermotologist and that all they will do is give me a cortisone shot.Theres really not much they can do.I was told by my gyno its a symptom/side effect from the pcos,or alsoyou can get them from drinking soda,but in my case its the pcos.Thats all I can really tell ya I just thought u would like to know you r not alone! Hugs and I hope u feel better and find a way to deal with this soon!!
