books? I read the sticky about books, and I ordered "The PCOS Diet Book." I'm not really satisfied with it, though--it's not concrete enough for me. I need more detail about how to eat. I'd like to have more information about why she suggests the meals she does--I didn't feel like she really told me what components go into a healthy diet, just suggested some meals without the rationale. I'm interested in the IR diet; I bought "The South Beach Diet" and I'm doing that right now, but my doc suggested the IR diet. So, here's my question--which books were the most helpful for you? I'm especially interested in books that would help me manage my blood sugar. |
