i was wondering what books are recommended on adoption? i have read 3 so far. my favorite has been "secret thoughts of an adoptive mom" i am tempted to buy a copy for some family members. id love to hear anyones suggestions, lisawillbeamom

thank you for the link, it is a really good site, i love it. i wrote some titles down and ordered them through amazon.ca cheaper as i am in canada. i ordered your book too. i cant wait to read it.
have you, or anyone read odoption a family affair yet? it sounds like a good one for family members. once i read it i may send it to my fil if its good. he has been the worst so far. whats everyones fav adoption book so far? i just cant get enough reading it seems, i want to know everything i can.
im off to adoption orientation tomorrow night and then parenting prep classes friday, saturday, and sunday!! wish me luck.

Some other books that are great are: "Dear Birthmother" by Kathleen Silber and Phyllis Speedlin, "The Whold Life Adoption Book" by Jayne Schooler and "The Essential Adoption Handbook" by Colleen Alexander-Roberts. I'll have to check out the tapestry.com site as well!
