hi all,
i would really appreciate your input regarding:
- books on alternative meds/herbs/exercises/treatments (i.e. accupuncture, yoga, herbs etc.)
- diet that you follow to treat pcos (i understand many women have found success through low-carbing. are there any other dietary plans that i can follow? i would actually like to become a vegetarian but i'm concerned that i may not get sufficient protein. i'll be okay with being semi-vegetarian limiting my meat intake with fish, seafood but not red meat, pork etc.)
- my symptoms are hirsutism, tendency to gain weight on my tummy, lump in my throat and fatigue. i also get depressive around and during my period. the most bothersome of my symptoms are the hirsutism and the lump in my throat. the slight depression i feel i can control by controlling how i think and the weight gain i just have to exercise and low-carb more. the fatigue is bothersome but i feel that if i exercise and watch what i eat, that can be controlled too. as much as possible, i'd like to be medication free for hirsutism. i'm on aldactone now. if you have recommendations about herbs or other non-medicinal way of treating hirsutism, i would really appreciate your input.
thank you so much for your replies. i really appreciate them.
Bandanna
