Default Bowel Movements are Bright Green!?

For the past month or so I have had bright green bowel movements, like I put green food coloring in there or something. I haven't changed my diet or anything, nothing has changed. I've been on Met for about a year now and at first I thought maybe that was causing it, but I haven't had it in the past, just now. Any ideas as to what could be causing it? There's no blood or anything so I don't think it's anything serious, it's just strange.

It could be alot of things, I had that once but it went away on its own but it only lasted a few weeks (i was also on glucophage as well)...so I did some research...

It seems to me that food that you are eating are digesting too fast? Some said it was mucus in the stool from post nasal drip or an infection. It may be something you might want to talk to the doctor about...I hope you feel better...

Here's an odd question--Have you been eating anything that's purple? Food that is artificially colored purple can give you green poo.

I haven't had this experience, but my daughter (age 4) gets it if I give her too much kool-aid (or very sugery drinks). I think one of my friends told me it could also be a sign of too much iron (or is it an iron deficiency).

Hope you figure it out.
