Not sure where to put this, but it is a question..
How many females here have there boyfriends, or husbands help with removing there hair. My Bf just ask me if I wanted him to show me how to remove the hair from my face, help with shaving and show me how to do it. He also offer to help, with the little patch of hair on my back that I can't reach.
I find this very sweet of him to offer to help, he has been there 100% for me, he wants to learn all there is as much as I do, so he is with me every step of the way .
But I would just like to know how many females have there boyfriends or husbands, help with shaving unwanted hair.
Thank You
Stephi

This is just mpo.
I have been married for almost 15 years. My dh and I are very close and he know all about my struggles with pcos. I would never, never, have my dh do anything so personal to/for me. I think certain things don't need to be seen. For me, I don't want dh seeing all my 'hairyness' when there are so many cute girls out there who don't have the same issues/problems. I have seen some post of some who let their s/o wax their 'bums'! I could never do that. I like that there is still some mystery in the things I do to make myself feel good and beautiful. It may be confusing what I am trying to say lol.
This is an example: The first time your s/o passes gas in front of you that is it he will always do it, but if one of your cute friends comes over or he is just by some other gal would he do it? Chances are more than likely no. This may still be a bad example lol!
When I used to wax my face/neck, my sister would help.

Sure, my dh loves to shave me -- and I love him for loving me enough to want to do it. I prefer to have it as something we share, rather than something from which he's shut out. I'd say, be glad he cares!

Aren't sisters just the best! (I totally got what you were saying in your post, I feel the same way!)

If I was in the hospital and in a coma or otherwise unable to attend to myself... I would appreciate if BF did it. Otherwise, I try to downplay the whole thing and don't let him watch me take care of any of it. He comments on it, and while he's trying to be nice by saying he notices it's decreasing (I'm on Spiro) or offering me removal tips, all that does is remind me that he notices it and honestly it kills me. I wish he wouldn't say anything at all. I'll never let him help me.

I think it's so supportive of your bf to offer to do this. My bf is just as supportive. I haven't actually had him help w/ plucking, but I have had significant hair loss (right on top of my head) and he has helped to cover the area. He kind of acts like my 360 mirror, I get him to check me before I go out in the morning, and make the necessary adjustments. He always tells me that he loves me no matter what and tries to understand what I'm going through. I feel we are blessed to have SO who love unconditionally...
It Took Me 5 Years To Tell My Boyfriend That I Had Pcos, And He Had Noticed I Had A Few Places More Than Other Females Where Im Hairy, But He Said That He Didn't Care. He Has Plucked My Eyebrows Once.. But As Far As Anything Else, I Wouldnt Let Him Because, I Think It Takes The Fun Out Of It..for Instance When U Take Your Time To Shave Everywhere I Mean Everywhere And He Comes Home And You Prepare A Romantic Dinner And U Know U Are Smooth All Over.. At That Moment I Feel Like I Always Have Been "hair Less". So If He Would Help Me, It Would Ruin The Fantasy For Me.
pfft. Dh and I have been shaving together since 17. I think it's hilarious to be honest. Him and I pushing each other in the mornings b/c one's hogging the mirror too much. He's never really helped shave me, but only b/c i'm a control freak. He'd do it if I asked, but i don't need help, I've been shaving since 13 i have more experience at it than him! lol I think hiding it or being embarrassed about it (for us) would just cause a weirdness more so than the beard itself!

Beautifully put -- and it's wonderful where we can share the fact of beard growth in common without i being a negative thing in our relationship, but rather a positive one.
