 Brand New On Actos
Hi Everyone:
This is my very first post. I was diagnosed with PCOS and Hashimoto's disease last summer. I just started taking Actos for insulin controlling and weight loss purposes. I also just started taking another water pill in addition to my Spiro.
I currently take:
Cytomel (Thyroid)
Actos
Spiro (Hair issues)
BCP
plus, another brand new water pill- can't remember the name at moment.
I need to loose 50-60 pounds and am curious when the Actos will kick in. I have tried various versions of Met and Glucophage but they irritated my system too much. I am also exercising 3X a week for 1/2 hr. on my treadmill. I know the Actos can put on weight but I am just crossing my fingers that it has a positive effect on me. I also lately count calories and try to stay under 1500 per day.
