Question Brand new to PCOS

Hello all!

I am brand new to the forum and brand new to PCOS. I am a 29yo mother of one 12yo in NYC. I was prompted to seek help from my physician after a weight gain of 25 lbs in the past 6 months, irregular cycles, and some weird chin hairs that I'm just damn tired of plucking. So after researching PCOS, I realized I had some other symptoms such as acne and a large abdomen. I just received some test results today and am still awaiting a thyroid test panel which wonr be until next week. Here's a rundown of my test results:

glucose 113 (on the hi side)
Total cholesterol: 242 (very high)
FSH 5.6 (normal)
LH: 6.3 (normal)
Prolactin 6.9 (normal)
Progesterone 0.91 (normal but low)
Testosterone 156.9 (very high)

So the concerning things for me are the sky high cholesterol and that teststerone level......I dont really know how to process that or what should be next step. I have become increasingly overweight and would love to say that if I drop these pounds , I will be cured of everything but maybe not. What do you guys make of any of this?? Thanks sooo much in advance.
PS I want to try to conceive in 1-2 years.
