Hi all! My sister in law directed me to this forum. She thought it may be able to help me out as I just found out I am pregnant!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 (11 years ago) and just re-confirmed the diagnoses several weeks ago with an endocrinologist. All of my hormone level blood work came back normal, but I have/had a zillion follicles on my ovaries and I also have the physical symptoms such as excess hair and all that lovely stuff. I also have type 2 diabetes and mental health problems (panic attacks and what not).

So I am super nervous about finding out I am pregnant as I thought it couldn't happen the old fashioned way. I guess I was wrong. I wish I would have been more responsible. I feel like if I had taken better care of myself and actually planned to get pregnant I might have better odds of having a healthy pregnancy.

I am lucky though, because I have a wonderful boyfriend/partner of over five years and a supportive family. I'm here looking for other women who share similar concerns because even though I know I am not alone, it's sure easy to feel that way sometimes (especially now).

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm sure I'll have more to say over on the motherhood board later...but this is it for now.
