Unhappy Breast Pain??????????????????????????

I woke up yestreday morning, and my right breast hurt really really bad. It hurt to have it in my bra and it hurt not to have it in a bra. I don't see anything wrong with it, tried to do a breast exam on myself, and I felt something, but couldn't really tell because the pain was so very bad. My dh looked and felt and couldn't find anything either other than more hardness than normal. I go to the Dr on April 24th, so I'm not gonna stress out about it. But, is breast pain a normal thing for someone with PCOS?

And I am late for my period, and I took a PG test, and it's a no... Something that I am use to!

Thanks for the listening ear.

Breast pain and swelling is usually a sign of low progesterone. I always get it in the week before my period comes. Once AF comes, it goes away.

I haven't had AF since December and here recently I've had some pain in both breast for about 2 weeks now.

I've never had major breast pain when AF was coming around... just a little sore, thats it... but this feels like a golf ball size and it hurts. Man oh man... I'm very very worried. :O

I can relate to how you are feeling, any unusual or pain you’re not use to is going to have your worried… last year for months I had breast pain and I kept putting off going to see my GP until I decided in January it was for the best if I did get it checked out.

Her recommendation was to try Evening Primrose Oil at a high dose and come back in three months if there was no improvement or sooner if there was any changes.

My AOL diary has just reminded me that the three months is up next week! The EPO did work after about 6 weeks and I have been pain free since + I swear EPO brought on AF which was missing for 18 months!

If you are concerned or worried I would get checked out just to re-assure yourself.
