Angry Breast Pain

Hi,

I keep getting really intense shooting pains in my breasts. Usually straight through the center. Does this happen to anyone else?

Thanks!

I sometimes have breast pain. It doesn't always feel the same. Sometimes it's an ache, sometimes it's stabbing and so forth. It usually only lasts for a second, so I just kinda "ooo" and when DF asks what's wrong, I tell him I'm having a boob pain and go on about my business. I've never really thought that it wasn't normal, but maybe it's not.

It isnt a common occurance, but sometimes i get a really sharp pain shoot through my breast , then it goes away until the next time, never really thought that much about it to be honest. Other friends of mine get this sometimes as well...

i get that sometimes. i asked my doc about it, and she said that it doesn't seem to be anything to worry about, i just have fibrous breast tissue. i had a baseline breast ultrasound after my li'l sis had breast cancer, and the fibrous nature of my boobs was confirmed, but there wasn't anything that looked worrisome. under ultrasound, my boobs look like jupiter. it was pretty cool.

my doc recommended drinking less caffeine to stop the shooting pains and/or dull achiness, however, i rarely drink caffeine (only occasionally in hot chocolate, but that is minimal compared to coffee, tea, and coke), so she didn't know what else to recommend. it's worth trying though, i think.

mine have been acting up over the past week. no shooting things, but a constant, not quite sure how to describe it, ache.
