hi ladies,
I had a reduction about 6 years ago, I went from about 36ddd to a small 36c
Needless to day my boobs have grown back almost bigger then before.
When I had it dont the Dr said he would leave some of the fatty breast tissue so that I will have a better chance of Breast feeding in the future, well I guess he left to much. I have gained some weight since then but not to much about 10-15 pounds.
My question is has anyone else had this result? lots of the ladies that I talk to here often complian about Large boobs so just thought I would ask. Are big boobs pcos related?
I would say a perfect size is 34-36b-c for me anyway but I short 4'11
what your prefrence?
Thank girls!!
Kat

I haven't found anything about it being related to PCOS, but anything is possible. I do want to let you know that I have two sisters, all three of us have pcos, my older sister was a 36A until Children now she is a 36B, my younger sister was a 38C until children and is now a 38D and I am a 36DD first child on the way, I hope mine don't get any bigger, lol. So from that I wouldn't think that large breasts are related to PCOS, But symptoms of PCOS show up differently in all of us so could be possible. my sisters just tease me that I took all of the breast gene's in our family lol.
I'm a 42F at the mo and I absolutely hate my boobs! Saggy and big and in the way...I would like to go down to a cup C and have just started looking into surgery - my worry being unable to breast feed as when (if) I do ever have a child of my own, I'm sure I will want to breastfeed....
I have a pair on me, too. I am a 40E. WHat drives me the most nuts is exercising with them -- even wearing two or three sports bras does not keep my back from hurting. I am planning on breast reduction when I am through having children (both because I am a huge breastfeeding proponent and because my breasts increased in size a lot with my first child). I will go down to a full D cup when I have my surgery. As odd as it sounds, I identify myslef as having big breasts. It would be weird to not have something larger than average.
As for the PCOS connection, this is an interesting question. Everything I have read points to small breasts being more likely. However, I think we all experience different symptoms. I have theorized that since women who have PCOS tend to be heavier, the ones who are well endowed to begin with just get too big with weight gain. If I was a size 8 and a DD cup, I would keep em! But being a size 20 and an E cup, they are just too big.
Good luck. I would consider seriously about having another reduction until you have had a child and see how this affects your size.
I am a size 48 DD. With my height at 5'2" they are too big. I have recently started to check into a BR, but my husband's insurance won't pay for it unless it is for medical reasons. I have to pay for the consultation on my own, which I can't afford right now. Anyway, if I would find out that PCOS is the cause of big breasts then that would help with the insurance(although I haven't seen anything yet on it). I do have back aches now and then and killer migraines, which I heard where caused by being well endowed. I just hope everything works out for me and everyone else considering a BR. I know I would probably be happier with smaller breasts.

From what I've read you guys are the exception because PCOS is usually associated with REDUCED breast size because of the excess testosterone, which of course is the cause of all the other unfeminine characteristics that we develop. So, maybe genetics won out for you guys if you come from a family of big busted women.

I had mine done in 1995 at age 20. I went from an estimated G or G to a "C+" (what my surgeon called it). I now need 44DD to be comfortable. I measure 42C, but I'm just not comfortable in that size. It is still the best thing I have done for myself. My breasts are leaking, so I hope that means I can breastfeed.

I busted (sorry bout the pun) on the scene with a C cup at puberty, for me age 12, from a pretty flat little chest. Needless to say, a much thinner, younger C cup 12 yr old girl got lots of attention from the boys.
I stayed about a C cup until I was 18 or 19, and I grew to a 48DD at 24 gaining tons of weight. I'm now 25 and I've lost a little (not much mind you - only 30 pounds and I need to lose almost 150 more to reach my goal) weight and now I am in a 46D.
I'm holding off on the idea of BR until I can lose more weight. I'm hopeful I'll go back down to my comfy C cup. If after I lose weight, and I still have these (big for me) tah-tahs, I'm gonna seriously consider BR after having children (if I decide to have kids that is..).
