Fenugreek is a galactogogue, meaning it makes you produce milk. It can also be used to help with IR, so when your siggy said too many meds to list, I just wanted to be sure you weren't taking fenugreek for IR and getting it's galactogoue side effect, too... I'm not sure what could be causing leaking bbs, it sounds like what happens when a woman first starts breast feeding, they tend to leak quite a bit, but I've never heard of BCPs causing it... just the hormone rush of prolactin you get after birth.. There is a condition called hyperprolactinemia that is associated with PCOS... perhaps your prolactin levels are high enough to trigger milk production???? If the quantity of leakage is bothersome, I'd say get it checked by a doc.... HTH Dianna

My friend was on BCP and having periods and woke up one morning with 2 wet patches on her nightie! Turns out she was PG! Maybe just test, just to make sure?? She seriously had no idea until that happened.

I started being able to sqeeze out clear fluid from one of my nipples about a year before I got pregnant...if I kept squeezing, it would turn whitish like breast milk. After researching a bit I found it is linked to PCOS and I forget exactly what but a hormone thing. I got pregnant, breastfed my son, stopped breastfeeding and I can still squeeze that fluid out of one nipple, even after all that time...I would ask your doc about it but not be too concerned!
I was just about to ask if anyone else had this issue and I saw your post. I had this problem on and off for years but lately its so bad, I just randomly leak. Very embarassing.

MegsInO, that's pretty crazy...I've had the exact same experience. I can squeeze milkish looking liquid out of just one side. I breastfed both my infants (as long as I could anyway) and the discharge looks just like breastmilk. I'm always able to get 'milk' out of just the one side but never the other. I haven't done any research on the subject though, looks like one more thing to look into!

Well BCP's make your body think it's pregnant, so when your hormones change your body can think it's had the baby and voila! You start producing breast milk! DON'T squeeze it out no matter how much pressure there is because it will just get your body to produce more. Leave it alone and let it dry up. I used to have this happen but now I'm on continuous BCPatch so my hormones don't really change that drastically any more.
