Question Brewers yeast

I started using Brewers yeast around 6 months ago in hope that it would help stop hairloss and help me grow some new hair. I noticed a little while after i started using it my arms were getting hairier and i now have a lot of hair on my hands and above my knuckles, i also have noticed longer and darker hairs inside my thighs. Has this happened to anyone else, i dont know if it was the brewers yeast that did that or i'm just getting hairier because of PCOS??? any input would be great thanks

Does Brewer's Yeast help you on growing hair on head? I'm thinking of switch ot Brewer's Yeast.

To be honest i really have no idea if brewers yeast is helping me or not. For the hairloss i have been using rogaine, i'm on metformin, taking a mulit vitamin, biotin and brewers yeast. I haven't been losing as much hair as i used to before i started all of these vitamins and rogaine but i my hair isn't as thick as it used to be. If there is any hope of it working then i'm going to keep on using it, good luck with everything.

What exactly is Brewer's Yeast supposed to do? reduce IR which therefore reduces androgens? If so, what is in it that does that?

Personally I couldn't tolerate it, it gave me mouth thrush.

Brewer's Yeast is full of B vitamins which are supposed to be good for people with hair loss issues. Additionally, it is a natural source of chromium which is usefull in sensitizing your insulin, which should help with any IR problems. That is why we take it.

Oh good, I'm so glad there are other sources of these nutrients for me!! (I already take a B complex and I never did see benefit from chromium personally)
