Hey Girls,
I am desperately seeking a dietician who knows their stuff when it comes to PCOS and would be happy to work with me during this pregnancy.
I talked with my OB the other day about it and he couldn't recommend anyone, but thought it was a great idea to seek someone out.
I don't want to diet or 'lose weight', I just don't want to put on any unnecessary weight during this pregnancy and want to do my best to avoid gestational diabetes.
I found one Kath!!! I've got an appointment for Saturday week. She's at Cleveland...but works at Bulimba too. She has a BIG interest in PCOS and was keen to see me. I'll let you know how it goes.
The dietitician i went to prior to getting pregnant (and subsequently losing 11kgs) is Desi Laskaris. Her main office is at Wooloongabba. I stopped going at 20weeks but will be going back straight after the bub's arrival.
