Okay, I thought I'd start the ball rolling and see when we're going to have our next get together - it usually takes ages for us all to agree, so I thought I'd start early. Just after Easter some time? Early April - what's everyone up to then?? How long do the school holidays last Fee?

Good idea to get the ball rolling - it takes us so long to organise dates !!
I work on Tuesdays and Thursdays and am away from the 7th - 10th of April. If these dates suit other people I don't mind missing out though.....just go with the majority .
I know this probably sounds sad. I am feeling pretty lonely so i would like to get to know people. If anyone is up for a regular get together i am. I do have mother's group on wednesday so any other day of the week is fine except for weekends are really buzy.
I just haven't done anything to meet people since i moved here. That's over two years ago. I guess in that time i've lost my way.

I get pretty bored myself, so if you would like to meet more often I'm up for it too! Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet at the next get together. I live at Holland Park.

Is anyone interested in a weekend get together - and somewhere Central like the city? I work full time, so week days are out for me, and I don't drive - so the City is the best location for me.
School holidays are only short this time. I go back to work on the 4th April - so it is back to weekends for me if i get to meet up with all of you.
Weekends are also busy for the next little bit: i am free on the 23rd of April (Anzac Day long weekend) and the 7th May. Maybe i will have to sit out the next get together!!!

Seems like we are finding it hard to agree on a date again. Mon, Fri and weekends are good for me. What if we set a date and see if we can get at least a few of us together?

Nice to see you - haven't seen you around here for a while!
I just started a new job about 3 weeks ago. It's 2 days per week and based in the Wynnum area. I am working with 13 - 15 yr old kids at risk of disengaging from school. They are in school 4 days per week and with me the other day doing alternative activities, life skills, etc. I am working with 2 schools in the area.
I'm still unsure whether I REALLY want to work at this stage (with IVF fast approaching!!), but I thought, I can't put my life on hold forever because of ttc.
Anyway, I hope we get to catch up soon.

I'm not a teacher or a teacher's aide - I'm a social worker and have never worked in the school system at all - so it is all very new to me. I think the job will be ok (trying to talk myself into it anyway ).
